Energy absorbing terminals and crash cushions

Crash absorbers are used in order to cushion the impact caused upon the collision of a vehicle and an obstacle (edge of a crash barrier, bypass pillar, machinery operating on the road, etc.) and the damage resulting from the collision.

Standard EVS-EN 1317 "Road restraint systems" is used as the basis when installing crash absorbers.
